St Louis here we come! It's time for the Quaker Parakeet Society's Annual Meeting! The QPS Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, August 25th, in conjunction with the Gateway Parrot Club's annual Hookbill Festival in St Louis. Spend the entire day and catch the Featured Presentation for the Festival: Yvonne Patterson and her "Wings of Love" Parrot Show! 17 trained parrots performing amazing tricks. Listen to wild Quaker advocate Steve Baldwin and QPS THE SENTINEL Editor Ellen Krueger's Quaker presentations; both on Saturday afternoon. Steve's topic: "The Wild Quakers of Brooklyn (and beyond). Ellen' topic:"Sharing the Joy of Companion Quakers". The QPS Annual Meeting will start at 5:00 p.m. immediately following Steve and Ellen's presentations (Saturday, August 25th, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.) Following the QPS Annual Meeting, The Gateway Parrot Club will host a hospitality dinner for the speakers and vendors. All others are welcome with advance notice and reservations. The cost is $15.00, which includes a complete buffet dinner, appetizers, desserts, soda, coffee, beer & wine.
